WILDLIFE MIGRATION

Wildlife Migration in Tanzania and Kenya

The Serengeti Ecosystem and the Wildebeests (white-bearded gnus) and Burchell's Zebras. The wildebeest calve on the Serengeti Plains from January to March. They generally depart the Serengeti in May, where they head east and north for Lake Victoria and the Maasai Mara, crossing the Mara River around July. They leave the Mara in October-December.

DAY 1. TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK, GALDESSA CAMP, 5*, MEAL PLAN IS FULL BOARD
You are picked up from your hotel at 0500 hrs to be driven along the main Mombasa - Nairobi Highway and after about two and a half hours, you enter Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate. Mid-morning game drive looking out for the big five as well as other animals, lunch at Galdessa Camp

Afternoon game drive in this park famed for its red elephants which earn their name from dusting themselves in the red soil, until evening time to return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Road distance covered from Diani Beach to Tsavo East National Park is approximately 205 kilometres.

DAY 2. TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK (FINCH HATTONS TENTED CAMP, 5*, MEAL PLAN IS FULL BOARD
Early morning breakfast then game drive enroute to Tsavo West National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive visiting Mzima Springs, hippo heaving pools that produce 20 million litres of crystal clear water per hour that feeds the coastal people Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Road distance covered from Tsavo East National Park to Tsavo West National Park is approximately 55 kilometres.

DAY 3 - COASTAL HOTEL, BREAKFAST ONLY
Early morning breakfast then leave for a game drive enroute on your way back to your coastal hotel to arrive at your coastal hotel in the time for lunch.

Road distance covered from Tsavo West National Park to Diani Beach is approximately 235 kilometers.

End of the safari.

EASTER SURCHARGE AND CHRISTMAS SURCHARGE
A surcharge would be charged per person per night on Good Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Easter Monday and on 24th 25th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January. THE SUPPLEMENT WOULD BE CONFIRMED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING FOR CLARITY REASONS.
