WILDLIFE MIGRATION

Wildlife Migration in Tanzania and Kenya

The Serengeti Ecosystem and the Wildebeests (white-bearded gnus) and Burchell's Zebras. The wildebeest calve on the Serengeti Plains from January to March. They generally depart the Serengeti in May, where they head east and north for Lake Victoria and the Maasai Mara, crossing the Mara River around July. They leave the Mara in October-December.

DAY 1. TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK, FINCH HATTONS TENTED CAMP, 5*, MEAL PLAN IS FULL BOARD
Start early in the morning at 0500 hours to Tsavo West National Park game drive enroute to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon further game drive with good chances of seeing the plenty of and visit the rhino sanctuary then further look out for big five animals among other animals until dinner and overnight at your camp.

Road distance covered from Diani Beach to Tsavo West National Park is approximately 250 kilometres.

DAY 2. AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK, AMBOSELI TORTILIS CAMP, 5*, MEAL PLAN IS FULL BOARD
Early morning breakfast then depart to Mzima Springs here, a special viewing facility allows the observer to view hippo wallowing with surprising grace from below the water line further drive to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch at the camp. At the doorstep rises one of the most beautiful mountains in Africa.

The unsurpassed snowing Mount Kilimanjaro, the sight of which made the early European explorers gasp with wonder and disbelief, afternoon game viewing looking out for the large herds of elephants, big five animals among other plains and plenty of birdlife. Dinner and overnight at your camp which is nestled in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Road distance covered from Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli National Park is approximately 155 kilometres.

DAY 3. TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK, GALDESSA CAMP, 5*, MEAL PLAN IS FULL BOARD
Early morning game drive then breakfast followed by further game drive enroute to the Tsavo east National Park arriving in Galdessa Camp time for lunch. In the afternoon visit the park until time for dinner and overnight.

Road distance covered from Amboseli National Park to Tsavo East National Park is approximately 260 kilometres.

DAY 4. COASTAL HOTEL, BREAKFAST ONLY
Early you would take tea or coffee and then depart for game drive until time for breakfast followed by drive enroute down at the coast arriving at your coastal hotel time for lunch.

Road distance covered from Tsavo East National Park to Diani Beach is approximately 200 kilometres.

End of the safari.

EASTER SURCHARGE AND CHRISTMAS SURCHARGE
